OUR PASTOR
Rev. Carlos R. Gant is a native Mobilian with more than 20 years in the ministry. However, because of being raised by 2 ministers (the Reverends John and Joyce Gant), he has spent a lifetime in and around the church and in a household full of the love of Christ Jesus. As such, he tries to bring that same totality of Christ’s love that he has grown up with to his family and to the ministry be it through pastoring or through interacting with the community at large.
In addition to his years of ministry experience, Rev. Gant’s other qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis with a minor in Business, and a Masters of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition, Rev. Gant is a professional stakeholder in the community where he serves in various organizations; some of which include, the Mobile Housing Authority (Commissioner & Chairman) the Mobile Planning Commission (Commissioner & past-chairman), the MLK Corridor Redevelopment Corporation (Executive Board of Directors) and 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile. Rev. Gant is also a graduate of Leadership Mobile (2006) and Leadership Alabama (2019).
